Block Print: An Art Form

The tradition of block printing is one of the oldest techniques used to create patterns on fabrics and textiles. Blocks are hand carved and crafted from wood with raised cut reliefs to be used on the printing surface. 

Block printing has had its roots in India since the 12th century and the city of Jaipur is world renowned for this art form. 

The city’s beautiful colorful architecture and warmth can be felt in the fabrics and blocks created. 

We are proud to design some of these blocks and patterns here in the USA with the help of our budding team of equestrians. With manufacturing done in India by artisans who have mastered the art of block making and printing over the decades.
